Japanese Binchotan Charcoal
Japanese Binchotan Charcoal
$18.00
For a cleaner glass of H2O
Binchotan charcoal, or activated charcoal, has been used by the Japanese for hundreds of years as a natural way to purify and cleanse. Add one of the glass-like sticks to a carafe of water for a naturally purified drink—the thousands of microscopic cavities left in the charred wood remove toxins and impurities from the water, while imbuing it with a cleaner taste. Great for making iced tea! Replace your charcoal once every 3 months or so, but don’t throw out your used sticks—when broken up and placed in soil, they add a little TLC to your garden, too.
Made in: Wakayam, Japan
Made of: Charcoal
Size: 0.25 pound bag of charcoal (sticks of various sizes).
